Gossipmongers, consider yourself on notice: Eddie Cibrian is no cheater. At least when it comes to remaining faithful to his mistress. A rep for the CSI: Miami hunk says Cibrian is suing mad over a Life & Style report painting him as a serial womanizer who is now two-timing LeAnn Rimes by secretly seeing an old girlfriend. "Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others. Lee Norris Gets Mouthy for One Tree Hill

8 November 2009 7:37 PM, PST | MovieWeb | See recent MovieWeb news »

Sometimes an actor can be just so right for a part based on where they came from. Lee Norris grew up in the basketball-friendly state of North Carolina and attended the Acc powerhouse school Wake Forest, known for a rich legacy of college basketball greatness. Norris plays Marvin "Mouth" McFadden, who becomes a basketball commentator on the hit CW series One Tree Hill, which is currently airing its seventh season on Monday nights at 8 Pm Et on the CW Network. I recently had the chance to speak with Norris over the phone about his role in this long-running series, and here's what he had to say.

I was curious how you first heard about this character Mouth and what was your first reaction about this character?

Lee Norris: I was actually a student in college when I got the call to audition for Mouth. I was really interested in »

'CSI: Miami' star Eddie Cibrian goes after tabloid

7 November 2009 3:15 PM, PST | Monsters and Critics | See recent Monsters and Critics news »

A rep for "CSI: Miami" star Eddie Cibrian has released a statement which reveals the stars legal action against Life & Style Magazine, which he contends has crossed the line by claiming Cibrian cheated on LeAnn Rimes. Both actors appeared together in a 2009 Lifetime film, "Northern Lights," married to other people at the time of production and allegedly struck up a relationship together that saw both marriages end this year. Cibrian's rep tells "Extra" in a statement: "Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others. LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Party in Vegas

Problems? What problems? Following a report earlier this week that Eddie Cibrian had been spending time with another woman - an allegation Cibrian has strenuously denied - the CSI: Miami hunk and his girlfriend, LeAnn Rimes, showed up at a nightclub Friday night after Rimes's concert in Las Vegas for a little fun, relaxation - and pole dancing. Observers spotted the carefree-seeming couple in the VIP section of Xs nightclub, where they talked, laughed and knocked back tequila drinks. Though they stayed at the venue inside the Encore Resort for only 20 minutes, there was time enough for a Pda. "They »

6 November 2009 11:19 PM, PST | Aceshowbiz | See recent Aceshowbiz news »

Going from a sweet to a bad girl, Betty gets herself a tattoo, drives fast, drinks a lot and rips a guy's front shirt open. In the next "Ugly Betty", Adam Rodriguez guest stars as the bad boy who makes Betty and Hilda's hearts beat fast. Bobby Talercio was Hilda's high school flame and Betty's schoolgirl crush.

Bobby teaches at Justin's school, causing the sisters to both doubt their feelings for "nice guys" - such as Archie, in Hilda's case. Justin is struggling to fit in at high school, so Marc advises him to befriend the mean girl-type cheerleaders, including Ava.

Meanwhile Daniel introduces Amanda to the Community of the Phoenix, as he's lured deeper into its clutches by Bennett and Natalie; and Wilhemina takes a drastic step to find money for Nico's blackmail payment.

"Backseat Betty" airs on Friday, November 13 at 9/8c.

CBS Orders More Episodes for 11 Shows; Will the Others be Cancelled?

5 November 2009 3:05 PM, PST | TVSeriesFinale.com | See recent TVSeriesFinale news »

CBS is having such a good year that they're increasing their episode orders for some of their most popular shows, according to EW. The orders total 13.5 more hours of programming. In terms of total airtime, that's the equivalent to ordering a whole new series.

This could mean a few less reruns for viewers... or that the network will be able to dump struggling shows even sooner.

CSI: Miami, How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Two and a Half Men have all been given orders for two additional episodes each.

The Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, CSI: NY, The Good Wife, and The Mentalist have each been given one more installment.

What about the rest? Are they in danger of being cancelled? Unless their ratings improve, many of them »

CBS Orders More Episodes of Hit Shows, Numbers the Days of Numb3rs

5 November 2009 5:33 AM, PST | TVfanatic | See recent TVfanatic news »

It lasted quite a long time for a show with a ridiculously-spelled name, but Numb3rs is nearing cancellation.

CBS has cut the episode order for this drama from 22 to 16 this season, a clear sign it won't be around in the fall of 2010.

That's bad news for fans of the show, but they can take comfort if they watch other hit CBS programs.

The network has increased the episode orders of How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, CSI: Miami, and Two and a Half Men from 22 to 24; it's also requested an additional episode of the following shows:

A CBS spokesperson is confirming that the network has cut Numb3rs' episode order from 22 to 16. Translation: This is most likely the show's final season. In related news, CBS has upped the episode orders of How I Met Your Mother, NCIS, NCIS: La, CSI: Miami, and Two and a Half Men from 22 to 24, while requesting one additional episode of Criminal Minds, CSI: NY, The Big Bang Theory, The Good Wife, CSI, and The Mentalist, bringing their totals from »

How’s the Jay Leno Show Faring These Days?

28 October 2009 3:12 PM, PDT | ScreenRant.com | See recent Screen Rant news »

Despite all the hoopla and what appeared to be NBC directives of enforced support for The Jay Leno Show, and pulling scripted dramas en masse, The Jay Leno Show is not faring as well as could be expected.

NBC made a reasonable pitch, declaring how different the show would be… if you count pulling the desk off the set and rearranging the same routines as different, then fine, it’s different. Otherwise, I’m not sure what the change is. And to boot, viewers aren’t impressed.

At least it doesn’t look good from last Monday night where The Jay Leno Show pulled in 4.6 million viewers…  and was bested by everything on the air except One Tree Hill on The CW, Gossip Girl, again from The CW and, well… huh. That’s it.

Dancing with the Stars, at its peak, had 18.4 million viewers and took the night, but in »
