Lost In Oz
ragstorichesfan12 February 2005
Lost In Oz is a modern adaption of the L. Frank Baum books.Oz needs a new Dorothy Gale to save them from the newest Wicked Witch. She has taken control of The Emerald city and has enchanted Ozma. The Good Witch Of The North summons a girl from the Kanssas plains to take on this challenge. With the help of some old Oz friends and an airplane pilot from the U.S.A. ( call name Scarecrow)This girl must set out to find The Wicked Witch Of The West and stop her evil plot.Lesser Known Oz Characters help out heroine on her way, such as The Hungry Tiger and The Patchwork Girl. Mia Farrow is absolutely stunning as The Wicked Witch Of the West. This darker version of Oz has the feel of the original books. A marvelous film to watch.

an excellent but unaired show

once again, the wb has screwed up! this had the potential to be a wonderful addition to the lineup! this darker version of oz could have had a great storyline going for it, and the acting was really excellent. and also, it was not mia farrow, but mia sara who played the wicked witch of the west, and she was fabulous! shows of great potential and quality such as this are becoming the victims of brain dead TV execs who pander to the brain dead TV watchers of this generation! we need more programs like lost in oz, not more idiotic "reality" shows, that teach people how to screw one another!the pilot for this show was damned good, and it's a shame that nobody would show some spine and give it a chance! shame on the networks and their foolish execs!

Give us another chance!

WHY was this not picked up!!!!! i would have loved to have been able to watch 'Alex' make her way through OZ and all of her journeys. Everyone loves the movie and everyone wants to find out what happened to OZ after Dorothy left so why did the jerk TV critics or who-ever makes these choices not give this a chance!?!?!?!? i say BRING IT BACK................PLEASE!!!!!!!!, i do not even remember seeing this on TV, did it ever air? i hope the TV people see this and realize that they made a BIG mistake, the acting was great and so were the special effects, there was not one bad thing about this show..the only thing missing were the ruby slippers

A New Adventure in OZ
rabbiepower11 October 2007
This one of the best Oz sequels that I have seen in a while. I have adventure and the true spirit of L. Frank Baums Oz adventures. I wish this made it to TV. It would have been great. Even if they just made a few TV movies of this Oz with these stars in these roles. It was good to see the Hungry Tiger get a part even if a small one and the Patchwork girl have a role in it too. It shows others that there is more to Oz then the scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and Lion. If they made more the could have introduced other Oz favorites and show more of the Wheelers. Too bads the world does not know what its missing. They lost out on a good show. They lost out on Oz.---JOHN
