A very good documentary about an important piece of our history
COLWebbSFMC15 August 2006
This film manages to cover in a short time much of the rich history of the Battleship USS Texas (BB-35). From her construction to all the technological firsts she was involved in until her final disposition as a museum ship at the San Jaciento Battlegrounds, the film hits all the major points of the history of BB-35.

Having visited the USS Texas before, it was inspirational to see her steaming ahead during her service in the old black-and-white films used in some sequences of this documentary. Interviews with actual USS Texas veterans add to the gravity of the film. If you can see this film, do so. If you can see the ship, even better.
