- Teen/Mature rated violence, and some moderate blood comes out when Nazis, Dogs, and Giant rats are shot to death, but the 8-bit cartoony graphics doesn't make this game that violent at today's standards.
- Blood is sometimes seen on the walls.
- In the SNES version. Most of the blood has been removed except for the player when he dies. Blood is seen coming out of his face.
