SPOILER: Koreans believe that a baby becomes self-aware while still in the womb and that everything a parent does or says during pregnancy will be in the unconscious memory of their child throughout life. This superstition is evidenced in the plot of "H" by having the killer relive his feelings when his mom aborted him (which he survived) while under hypnosis.
