• Continuity: The blood smeared on May's chin changes between shots.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: There are two shots in the ending where you can see the "zombie" move: first is after May first finishes attaching the head (breathing is obvious in lower stomach) and the second after May "completes" the head (the neck pulse). The second instance could arguably happen in May's head (as it's after her sacrifice to bring it to life) but it shouldn't be moving before that.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Just before Petey falls to the floor to find the doll, you can see blood on her legs and arms before she hits the floor and cuts herself the glass.
  
  

• Continuity: When May and Adam are having lunch on the bench and May begins her "gross story" Adam alternates between having both hands in front of him and having one hand on the back of the bench next to May.
  
  
• Continuity: When young May blows out the candles on her birthday cake one candle is left lit and in the next shot all candles are out.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: When May takes a cigarette out of the Bilson box, a camel cigarette logo can be seen along the bottom part of the cigarette.
  
  
• Continuity: When May is walking home from talking to Polly at the Animal Hospital, she is wearing her blue dress. However, in the elevator, she has a white sweater.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: May's massacre occurs on Halloween. But when she is walking home, you can see Christmas trees in the windows.
  
  
• Crew or equipment visible: Camera man reflected in May's glasses for half a second when she looks up at the boy on the bench after he says "trying to be friendly, sorry".
