Another idiotic nonsense
serious_enzyme28 April 2006
Another idiotic nonsense about "hell of drugs" made by someone completely ignorant of the subject. Creators of the film obviously learnt about the drugs from Christian pamphlets and from equally competent word of mouth of their parents. In addition, this is one of the worst products in, bad as it is, line of Serbian instant film fashion trend. Direction is awful, picture about drugs engrossed and uninformed, understanding of youth culture non-existent and acting horrendous. Only light spot is standardly good Dragan Nikolic but that's far from being enough of the reason to see or ever even to know the name of this abomination. Highly unlikable film.

Description

Its a story about early love and cruelty of the world which is destroying itself. The main heroes, still kids, not able to understand the system of false values which is being given to them by their families and surrondings...

In their own unsuccessful revolt they become victims of artificial consolation which drugs bring them. A society who in this way destroys its small rebels really in the end destroys itself.

It´s shocking to know that not only in the US, high drug usage by teenagers is high. In Serbia around 300-400 youngsters die from drugs in a country with inhabitants less than 10 million. It deserves to be seen, for it is a good movie which will shock you in the end with these statistics.

Not a masterpiece but definitely worth watching

Warning: Spoilers
I actually loved the movie. Although it is naive when it comes to drug addiction, only a very superficial person would fail to notice the storyline underneath. It is a story of two kids from two very different backgrounds. A guy from a poor family, raised by a single mom is in love with a rich girl, who considers him her best friend, so he tries everything to fit in her world. She is a drug addict, so he starts using to relate to her more... The scene when he finds her on that roof top, and carries her home, was so moving... So, yes, it is a pretty cheap movie, and personally, I couldn't believe it when I saw that it was filmed in 2001, but in its own way, it's brilliant.
