The "Zig-Zag Laser" (aka "Upside Down Laser Cutting") illusion, in which David Copperfield has sawed Catherine Bach into six pieces has been specially designed for this show. It was no more performed by Copperfield until May 2001, when he used it (in a modified form) to saw Jennifer Lopez into six at a White House benefit for UNICEF.
The "Levitating A Boy" illusion has been performed again in The Magic of David Copperfield: China (1986).
The "Lear Jet Vanish" illusion makes a really wide use of the original motion pictures score composed and conducted by Alfred Newman for Airport (1970).
The "Zig-Zag Laser" (aka "Upside Down Laser Cutting") illusion is the longest illusion included in this TV special: it reaches the length of 8:04 minutes.
