I regularly enjoy avant-garde and "b" type movies, but there is little to enjoy about "f8".
The little to enjoy is the recognition that this work represents many hours on a computer, and many more hours' worth of rendering time.
I found the graphics a but fuzzy and otherwise out-of-focus.
A lack of dialog is usually not a bother (several movies do well without dialog, such as the Qatsi trilogy). In this movie, ANY dialog would have helped things along.
As the previous person's comment stated, it was difficult to follow the plot. Had I not read the liner notes, I would have had NO idea what was going on. I watched it, and I still do not.
This movie is NOT on par with any major motion picture, nor any cult classic.
While "f8" does represent quite a bit of effort, it was a waste of 13 minutes. I am redeemed by writing this.
Cheers!
