Rowan Atkinson is hilarious. The Adventures of Mr. Bean found an audience in America with HBO. Although it took 3 years for it to arrive in America, when it did, America was laughing their heads off because of this unknown "Brit" who nobody knew. By this time Rowan was already well established in Europe as a modern day Jerry Lewis. The cable series (weekly) found Mr. Bean, the Alien, getting himself into one situation after another. The laughs are non-stop as the unpredictable Bean doesn't stop until everyone in the audience is laughing. One of the better British comedies to hit America in a long time, this is beyond absolutely fabulous.
