Also known as "Jason se lo monta de miedo" (translated to English it means something like, "Jason rides it with fear"). This movie is recommended by Lloyd Kauffman and he even says that everyone on Tromaville has watched it.
The movie's opening credits are in the likes of "Friday the 13th The Final Chapter" with the hockey mask on the background while the main actors' names appear on the screen. Of course, Nacho Vidal is the first name to appear. After the opening credits we are taken to "Vidrios Lake" (Crystals Lake!) where a guy that looks like a Heavy Metal artist finds Jason's hockey mask and immediately puts it and starts some sex crazed massacre. His first victim is an unfortunate guy who was just walking in the woods; then he proceeds to dispatch a couple that made love in fron of a "Dawn Of The Dead" poster (nice decapitations as shown in the reply!); and he has time to shot his mother's head after she spits him; then we get a NICE lesbian sex scene involging a pepper and a banana (unfortunately Jason kills the blonde slut by slamming an ax in her head; oH! then there's the "Psycho" shower scene homage; then a decent sex scene (male-female); then Jason stabs the female; then we are taken to a sexy "Exorcist" spoof where the possessed "Reagan" has the words "F*** ME" written on her stomach. Of course.. you can guess the outcome of the scene. But sadly enough, Jason comes with a chainsaw and slaughters sexy Reagan and her male partner.
Then we got another male-female sex scene. In between the scene Jason takes a chance to smoke, eat popcorn, and talk on the phone! Then, the movie ends abruptly. There are some decent behind the scenes with the cast and crew, and some metal rock band.
Now, I wonder why Americans didn't come up with an idea like this before? The truth is that Spanish XXX directors capitalized the idea very well and made a porno version of probably the most popular American Slasher : "Friday the 13th".
The Mora-Vidal duo joins again and this time in a porno with some bits of gore. In the likes of the porno cult classic and underrated "Nikita X: Licencia Para Follar"; "Viernes 13 XXL" does a great job in spoofing but at the same time re-creating the settings and plot of the original movie (Crystal Lake, the mother's shrine, etc.).
While "Nikita X" solves her missions with hardcore sex and gangbangs; the killer in "Viernes 13" wrecks havoc with killing methods of punish for those who have sex! Also, in "Nikita X" there is plenty of good gore ; When I say good gore, I mean high quality gore techniques which means that Spanish people really invest in Porno which is a very prolific business there. The gore in "Nikita" is much better (offering a head blown, an exploding penis, etc.) but "Viernes 13" has it's own goodies.
Excuse me if I compare "Viernes 13" too much with "Nikita X" but both movies are similar in many aspects... Direction, quality in sex, art direction, visuals. Yes, believe it or not both movies have the cream of Spanish porno. Nacho Vidal will always be a reference in these kind of Spanish porno. The same goes for Tavalia Griffin.
But let's be honest. We aren't watching "Viernes 13" for it's production values or quality. We watch it for it's hardcore sex scenes and gore (for people like me who enjoy it). To be honest, there isn't much hardcore and explicit scenes as expected. The concept had potential to at least feature an orgy with blood.
While this is low budget it still delivers expectations. Believe the tag line, it's a sexy spoof of "Friday the 13th". Very sexy I must say because all of the hot women. Horror fans will be in an alternate B-movie Heaven if you are looking for sex and Horror references.
