A woman's life backwards

Warning: Spoilers
Eight years before Shona Auerbach shot her first feature film Dear Frankie starring Emily Mortimer and Gerard Butler, she made her directorial debut with this short film telling the life story of an old woman from her death in reverse back to her birth. It's not really one short film, but seven in one as the film is split into seven sequences that depict crucial events in the woman's life, including shots as her as an older lady, young woman and very small child.

It's a short film that does not need much language, there's hardly any talking included at all, but it's packed with nice cinematography and wonderful music. It's not really outstanding in any regard, but its 18 minutes make an interesting watch nonetheless. I'm a bit surprised Auerbach hasn't shot any more films except this and Dear Frankie, which is almost 10 years old by now as well. The talent is definitely there.
