Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch marks the second major Monster Hunter release of 2018, a move that will undoubtedly please longtime fans of the series. The first, Monster Hunter: World, released in January for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in early August for the PC. For the past few years, Nintendo had been the go-to platform for Capcom’s world renowned franchise, and as the excitement of World thrills gamers on more powerful systems, its nice to see the Switch get a new game too. Granted, its not a new game per se. Rather, it’s a better version of a game that first hit the Nintendo 3Ds back in 2015.

Out-of-town tryouts aren’t just for the theater world. There’s a rich tradition in rock, too, of taking to the road to test and strength unrecorded material, although the custom is on the ropes, obviously, in the YouTube era. Joe Jackson still believes in the process: For July , he tacked a 15-city mini-tour of secondary markets onto the tail end of two years of gigging, for a two-fold purpose, he explained during Sunday’s tour finale in Boise.
The short trek was to hit places he’d “rarely or never played before, here being the latter,” Jackson said shortly into a two-hour set at Idaho’s sold-out, 1,400-seat, sphinx-filled, 91-year-old Egyptian. “The other reason is to try out some new songs, as our next stop is the recording studio. Do you mind? … I figured it was only polite to ask, even though we’re gonna do them anyway.”

The synopses have been revealed for Legends of Tomorrow, The Flash, and Arrow for the episodes coming up in two weeks! Let's start with The Flash, as it clarifies a rumor about if Jesse Quick will be killed by Grodd's hands. This is not exactly a spoiler anymore because, well, it is in the synopsis and there is a listing on IMDb if the actress that plays Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) will be on the show. If you really do not want to know, skip over the first part. I'll spread it out a bit so you can avoid it easier, but again, it's not really a spoiler anymore.
The Flash - "Into the Speed Force"Barry Turns To The Speed Force – Desperate to stop Savitar and save his friends, Barry (Grant Gustin) turns to the speed force for answers. H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) gives Jesse (guest star Violett Beane) some advice.

The new film “Lost in Florence” takes a hard look at love, sorrow and the healing power of sports in the heart of Florence, Italy. When his girlfriend turns down his marriage proposal on a trip to Florence, former college football star Eric Lombard (Brett Dalton) stays behind with his cousin Anna (Stana Katic) and her Italian husband to heal his wounds. While he’s there, they introduce him to calcio storico, an ancient form of football played every summer in Florence that combines rugby and street fighting. During his time there, Eric falls for Stefania (Alessandra Mastronardi), the girlfriend of his teammate Paolo (Alessandro Preziosi), and tries to learn what makes life worth living. It co-stars Emily Atack (“The Inbetweeners”), Robert Aramayo (“Game of Thrones”) and Marco Bonini (“Under the Tuscan Sun”). Watch an exclusive clip from the film below.

That was kind of uneventful.
Getting rid of Savitar on The Flash Season 3 Episode 9 was obviously far too easy. If there's even a chance of Savitar being in the future, then tossing the box into the speed force was worthless.
So now we're to play a waiting game for when he'll return or when Barry will do something with the timeline to try to get into the future to stop what may come his way.
Because do we really think Barry has learned his lesson about changing time?
Given that his first reaction upon seeing Iris die in five months was to go back to try to stop it, I'd have to give that a solid no. If Jay hadn't been there, he might have wanted to try to get there right away.
With Wally and Barry both around to create a speed force at any time, who's to say they won't,...

If photos and an extended trailer weren’t enough to whet your appetite for the midseason finale of The Flash, The CW has now released a full clip ahead of tonight’s episode that sees the return of one of the most prolific men to portray supervillains over the past quarter century.
We are, of course, talking about Mark Hamill, who has played various iterations of both the Joker and the Trickster since the early 1990’s. Since reprising his role as the latter on The Flash, it became quite obvious from the start that this version of Trickster was written more like the Joker, with Hamill obviously using his now infamous character voice that was once exclusive to the Clown Prince of Crime. It’s as if the producers said, “hey, Mark, use your Joker voice when playing Trickster. We doubt a single fan will complain.”

We first met the hero in the show’s season 2 finale when he was revealed as the man in the iron mask being held captive by Zoom. Since then, he’s returned to warn Barry about the dangers of time travel, but in this instalment of The Flash, Jay will be taking on Mark Hamill’s Trickster (well, The Trickster from Earth-3).

As we all know, Mark Hamill has appeared as The Trickster in earlier seasons of The Flash, but in these new promo stills he's definitely looking more like another DC supervillain he's closely associated with: The Joker. The character is listed as James Jesse, and is therefore almost certainly the Earth-3 version of The Trickster, who can be seen here facing off with John Wesley Shipp's incarnation of Jay Garrick. Check out the pics below, along with a synopsis for the December 6 episode of The Flash, "The Present." Hot on the heels of a generous gallery of new images comes an extended look at next week’s episode of The Flash, which is appropriately titled “Killer Frost.” With Caitlin Snow’s gradual transformation into a supervillain building to a crescendo, it is most fitting this installment be directed by Kevin Smith and co-written by showrunner Andrew Kreisberg. If any episode were to have “quintessential” written all over it, it would probably be this one.
But we must ponder whether or not Caitlin will take a turn for the villainous, despite what Cisco’s portentous vision depicted. Just because Killer Frost lived up to her namesake on Earth-2 doesn’t mean the Caitlin we’ve come to know and love won’t eventually get her emotions (and powers) under control. And, lest we forget, Killer Frost will soon reform herself and walk the heroic path in Steve Orlando’s...

Tonight’s episode of The Flash ended on a pretty huge cliffhanger as the Scarlet Speedster was attacked by Savitar and Wally West seemingly began his transformation into Kid-Flash. Unfortunately, neither of those particular plot points are addressed in the gallery above, but we do get to see Caitlin Snow start to turn into Killer Frost.
That’s been on the cards for a while now, but it appears as if she’s finally going to start giving in to the villainous nature that her powers have helped manifest. That’s going to be bad news for The Flash and his friends, and it appears as if even Julian Dorn will end up coming under fire from her. Will we see the fully transformed Killer Frost take on Vibe as Cisco predicted though?

In this promo for next week's episode of The Flash, Caitlin quite literally stabs Barry Allen in the back as she finally transforms into Killer Frost. The fact that metahuman hater Julian Dorn knows about that is sure to cause problems for the Scarlet Speedster and his team, though after tonight's instalment, that may be the least of the superhero's issues now that Savitar has made his presence felt in Central City. Now that they've made Julian a rather likeable chap, who else thinks more than ever he's Dr. Alchemy?
On The Flash Season 3 Episode 5, Julian shared with Barry his reasons for hating metas, and although they're valid, and he even seems open to the idea not all metas are bad after The Flash kept him from killing a teenaged boy, Julian's anger at not being chosen as one of the special ones might negate all that.
There is a pattern with The Flash and other DC shows on The CW, and it's to make you suspect someone, then to make you think they're not so bad and even like them (Heck, I was cheering on Caitlin kissing Zoom last season), and then to make them the bad guy all along.
I don't see any reason this season will be any different. And being bullied is a big thing. My guess is...

Apologies for not having this up sooner but I was didn't get a chance to watch this episode until last night.
The return of Leonard Snart and the creation of Mirror Master. Tuesday nights episode of The Flash was just as predictable as a majority of the episodes we have already seen from the previous two seasons. This week it was about Barry’s awkwardness around Joe when kissing Iris. This made absolutely no sense to me at all since Joe has known for quite some time that Barry love’s Iris. As season-long procedural set-ups go, having Barry change the timeline and a mysterious villain restore lost metahumans is a decent one – it's this year's version of the particle accelerator or Smallville's krypto-freak of the week. It might feel a bit clumsy or convenient, but I've always been a strong believer in 22-episode seasons modelling themselves after 90s television instead of the currently fashionable '10 hour movies or novels'.

There was a significant change in tone this episode from the previous two episodes. With such a serious tone with Flashpoint and Barry’s effects in Paradox it was nice to see a lighter tone to last night’s episode. With Barry and the team moving on from the past and living with their mistakes it now allows the storyline to move forward. Although this weeks’ lacked in the villain storyline, everything else in this episode was magnificent.
These were three biggest takeaways from last night’s episode:
The growth of relationships on this episode.
Except for Cisco and Caitlyn this episode focused on the growth of different relationships throughout the team. The relationship between Harrison and Jessie continues to be a work in progress but it seems for the better after this week. Although from a different universe it seems that Flashpoint had some effect on Harrison and Jessie.

In last night’s episode of The Flash, we learned just how much of an impact Barry Allen’s trip back in time has had on the lives of his family and friends. Caitlin Snow has developed Killer Frost’s powers, Cisco’s brother was killed by a drunk driver, and over in Arrow, Diggle’s baby daughter Sara is now his little boy John Diggle Jr. (who became Green Arrow in Legends of Tomorrow).
A new villain has also made his presence felt in Central City in the form of Dr. Alchemy, so it’s lucky for Barry that Earth-2’s Harrison Wells will return alongside his daughter Jesse in next week’s instalment. The fact that the latter is now a speedster will come as a big help, but the Fastest Man Alive is first going to have to deal with the powerful Magenta.

Season 2 of The Flash ended with Harrison Wells and his daughter Jesse returning home to Earth-2. Inevitably, fans were left wondering when the beloved characters might return, especially after Barry Allen decided to race back in time to change history. Thankfully, we now know the answer to that question, and it turns out we’ll only have to wait until the third episode.
What brings him and his daughter to Earth-1? Well, after being hit by the second particle accelerator blast which restored The Flash’s powers, it turns out that Jesse has indeed become a speedster (which may not be all that surprising to comic book fans considering the fact she’s known as Jesse Quick in the source material).
