Hilarious

The movie's completely offbeat, illogical and irreverent theme is hilarious. Many serious critics could not appreciate the humour of this film, so the only real way to judge it is to see it for yourself. We follow 4 central characters whose lives are rundown and pathetic, yet they all live happily and ignorantly. We follow the story of a young girl who has stolen cocaine from criminals, and a crooked jobless young man who; they decide to get married for some god unknown reason. At the same time we follow a middle aged bar owner, of the decrepit 'Boomerang'. The rest of the movie jumps from one non sensible joke to the next all in hilarious fashion. The end of the movie results in the ultimate destruction of the bar, Boomerang. Hilarious - 10/10

One of the best comedy

I read some bad critic for this movie and i didn't like it, and i think it isn't true and can not be taken into final impression. This is one of the best comedy comes from Serbia, literally every minute of this movie you will laugh, because movie is so amuse. And there is group of excellent actors in the movie like Lazar Ristovski, Dragan Jovanovic, Nebojsa Glogovac, Nikola Simic, Nikola Kojo and others. This is not a movie to draw some important lessons, this is more for laugh and for relax yourself in about 90min. This is kind of movie that i can watch over and over again for many times and i will always enjoy and laugh like i seeing it for the first time.

well, if you're into basara's books, this is a must see movie! but if you hate them (there's no indifference towards basara, you love him or hate him) don't bother and find something else to watch/read :) but if you haven't read anything, you might take a look and find a whole lot of brilliant/insane/drunk/psychedelic/delirious/ ideas/thoughts/lifephilosophies.

it's that good.

The best

Hello. This is one of the best Serbian films, and if I may say so and the world. Maybe it's some hard to understand because they are not Serbian humor from Serbia, so there is a possibility that not just the best opinion about this film, or that their movie is not funny. In short, the story is set in a café, a bar, called Boomerang, and the whole film vividly and humorous represents Serbian mentality, a way of life, and specific sense of humor, which is, as I said, it's hard to understand other nations. In any case, I would recommend everyone to watch it even by repeatedly if someone does not understand immediately the first time. I've watched it several times, and believe me, every time is funnier and funnier. I enjoy this movie, and I can look at him and a few times.

This is a very nice and amusing movie to watch. The story is a little bit weird but the film is based on comedy and i laughed the whole time its so funny! The actors do crazy things all the time and jokes are made all the time.I enjoyed the actor that plays the cop at the police station he's so funny when he talks and walks. The film is bit chaotic because there is no real story to tell. All the things happen near the cafe called Boomerang! The guests that come there are also very amusing to watch. The actors all do crazy things u wont expect there's are cocaine dealers there's mafia old people and pregnant women, taxi drivers and an old grandfather that always makes fight with his wife.If u want a good time watch this movie it wont disappoint u

Huh... The films in Yugoslavia are just getting worse and worse. Again we have very primitive, beer down your throat buddy film here. And actually very boring one. Just when you think, start watching very beginning that something can happen, in very next moment you are splashed with same hysterical approach Serbian directors have to nationalism, patriotism and social coolness with which Serbs are so proud of.The idea is in some way cute and chilling but director Dragan Marinkovic have done twisted work with it where the plot actually don't exist. It's just a simple, plain story in which they wanted to present that all miseries and misfortunes that happen returns as boomerang. Good becomes bad, bad becomes good, criminal becomes honest, idiot becomes clever, witty person. It is just too much considering that characters aren't actually real. And the situations they put themselves are overbuilt and pretentious. The pace and mise-en-scene are dreadful. Actors were losing themselves practically laughing at themselves for doing mediocre work. The only good thing in the whole film is character and performance Milena Dravic did. She is absolutely breathtaking, I was at the edge of my seat on the scene at the movies. She was absolutely wonderful, an Oscar winning performance for supporting actress. But all in all this film is completely not worth seeing cause a lot of people would be annoyed and by the direction and by the pace. Pity cause the idea is really good but completely not put into right direction. 2/10 + 2 for Milena Dravic only
