"Hombres Felices" / "Happy Men" is a sex comedy that is, disappointingly, unsexy and unfunny. The script is both vulgar (five minutes in, a man is, let's say, "playing" with himself with one hand while rocking the cradle of his baby with the other!) and trivial. For some reason, the DVD cover emphasizes the image of Aitana Sanchez Gijon with a gun, when in fact that image plays a very insignificant part in the movie (bummer!). Both Gijon and male lead Sergi Lopez are quite high-profile actors who have done work in a variety of countries (and languages), but this was clearly a throwaway project for them, until they could move to the next one. *1/2 out of 4.

Spaniards have been for a while, abusing their freedom of expression and sexuality... and you can see it on this unnecessary film. Bad jokes in a bad comedy where sex is the outline, and a bad one by the way. Too bad these good actors were wasted in a sexual comedy of no interest whatsoever.
