Sex & Nudity

  • Earl says that Nash 'humps his mother'.
  • Earl asks a woman if she wants to see his 'big rig'.
  • Early in the movie a woman starts to dance provocatively for a cop. She strips down to her bra and underwear and gives him a lap dance. The cop handcuffs her to the ceiling.
  • Several provocative remarks and action across the film

Violence & Gore

  • There's a violent shootout in an office between Hank and Earl and a group of and guys.
  • Hank angrily punches Earl in the face. Earl later punches Hank in the face in retaliation.
  • There's a large final shootout, and the two main characters do kill many bad guys, but no blood is shown. Several people are bloodlessly shot, a vehicle crashes, and the whole thing ends when a propane tank is shot and a massive explosion ensues.
  • Hank gets shot by a bad guy during the final shootout, but survives. Not at all graphic and no blood is shown.
  • There's a large shootout in a soda factory between two men and a bunch of bad guys. One man is elbowed in the face, and lots of bullets and destruction occur in this scene.
  • Three gun fights, explosions, and car crashes take place throughout, but virtually no blood. Characters punch each other. A car explodes, one of the main characters cuts a swath of destruction through a police training session, and many characters are shot, but there is practically no blood.
  • There is a final fist fight between Nash and Earl. Many blows are exchanged between the two, but it's not that brutal, and no blood is seen.

Profanity

  • Profanity is strong and frequent, but not excessive and pervasive.
  • Mild actually.
  • 1 use of 'fuck', 17 uses of 'shit', 13 uses of 'damn', (2 of which are 'goddamn'), 16 uses of 'hell', 11 uses of 'bitch', 17 uses of 'ass', 3 uses of 'crap' and 1 use of 'pussy'.
  • Racial jokes and insults run throughout the movie. For example, a white character is called a "Nazi" and a black character a "monkey." Most of the racial jokes are made by Nash & Earl. Earl makes jokes at white people, Nash makes jokes at black people.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • The main characters find special beer kegs that are being smuggled.
  • Nothing too serious. No drug use.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Some of the shootouts can be intense, and the final fight scene is pretty brutal.
  • Scenes listed under "Violence" might also be tense or suspenseful to some viewers, but most are played in an over-the-top action style rather than as true suspense.
  • Hank and Charlie enter a warehouse with their guns drawn. After some gunfire breaks out, Hank tries to get back to Charlie.
  • Earl climbs into a building just as the bad guys show up (and he doesn't realize they're on their way up). This results in another gun battle.
  • Hank tries to save Earl who's hanging from some metal rods sticking out of a concrete slab that's about to fall from a cliff.
  • For tweens/teens.
  • None for neurodivergent viewers.
