NEW YORK -- Cable network the Sundance Channel has acquired U.S. television rights to a package of 13 films from indie film distributor Palm Pictures. The deal includes Palm's entire 2003 slate as well as several titles to be released next year. The package encompasses such current releases as Demonlover, directed by Olivier Assayas and starring Connie Nielsen, Chloe Sevigny and Gina Gershon; the skateboard documentary Stoked: The Rise and Fall of Gator; and The Eye, by Hong Kong helmers the Pang brothers.
