London: The evergreen actor of Bollywood, Dev Anand passed away last night due to heart attack. Dev Sahab was 88 and he was in London for check up. For the past few days, he was unwell, he came to consult a physician with his son Sunil. Dev Anand begun his career in films in 1946 with Prabhat Talkies “Hum Ek Hain”.
Then he acted with the then popular actress Suraiya in a lot of films, and became a successful hero. “Ziddi” and “Baazi” were his most popular films in the early 50s. Some of his memorable films are “Cid”, “Paying Guest”, “Jewel Thief”,.
