The funniest show I've EVER seen concerning Nazi Germany. No other show including The Producers or To Be or Not To Be has as many belly laughs or memorable sequences as this mostly forgotten classic gem of a show. It's not making fun of Jews, it's making fun of Hitler!
Hitler is the funniest I've ever seen him, Eva is adorable, the supporting cast was great, and the writing is crisp and witty. The Jewish next door neighbors, the Goldenstein's, are wonderfully cast and a pleasure to watch. Very misunderstood programme in an age when I would think people would be more intelligent and MORE aware that no one in their right mind would make fun of tragedy. If you don't like this show, that's your prerogative, but in no way should any show be banned just because someone finds it not funny. If that were the case, most of American TV would be a blank channel.
