Quotes:
Ben: [grabs Michael on the neck from behind] Right, gotcha!
Michael: How long have you been waiting there?
Ben: Hours. Where's my £60?
Michael: I put it in the bank.
Ben: At this time of night?
Michael: Erm... I did it online.
Ben: [looking puzzled] I gave you cash!
Michael: It's got a holographic modem.
Ben: What's that?
Michael: Well... you scan the bank notes into the feeder slot, which then converts them into cyber-pennies... which, then transmatterates them directly into my account.

Surprisingly addictive and hilarious!, 1 August 2006
10/10
Author: toxina90 from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England

I remember watching this from the start and quickly became absorbed in the series. I was expecting another rather dry and short living comedy that the BBC had produced before but I was surprised. Every episode is fresh and original and you quickly warm to all the members of the dysfunctional Harper family. The characters are excellent especially Susan, Ben and the hilarious Nick, the show always seems to come up with some sort of hilarious story for the family to endure. When Nick left a few series in, I was expecting the show to bomb, however the new characters brought in like Abby and Roger, proved just as amusing and what the show needed to continue. I have watched all the series and there are certain episodes that are better than others, however I think My Family could appeal to anyone, as all the characters are different and easy to relate to. This is definitely one of my favourite comedies from the UK. 5 star entertainment.
