A good hearted if somewhat unsophisticated film
Havan_IronOak8 March 2010
This movie lacks the polish of a studio release and its small budget roots show visibly in a number of spots but overall its a good hearted earnest effort to invoke some of the magic a few of us felt at summer camp.

Yes, all the stereotypical kids roles are here. Yes, the imminent danger of the camp's closing is here. We even have a wicked witch of sorts.

They warn you never to work with kids or animals cause they'll steal the show. In this case its true. While the scenes with the adults were noticeably sub par, the kids scenes were fine and I think, saved the overall film.

these comments are surreal and intrusive of political jargon

Basically when it comes down the isoteric duplicitness then The Magic Rock can keep on rocking, if you will. It is a dynamic story of catatonic portrayals of sharp curiosity. Daryl Weins' role in this film is both therapeutic and collodial.
