Before I start, remember this film was made before lock stock. Try and remember that before you start handing out similarities.

This is an awesome gangster film. The portion with Neil Stuke is superior but ultimately this provides all the pace, style and twists that guy ritchie has claimed as his own.

James Rogan is a great director. Watch it.

"A Rare Gem" - The Times

Dead Bolt Dead clearly displays the much overlooked talents of actor Neil Stuke, in a rare role that is a mix of drama, comedy and pathos, Neil Stuke captivates the audience as a complex assassin confronted with killing a legend in the crime world that he resides in.

Dead Bolt Dead is indeed a rare gem in the way that it subverts and confronts some of the now rather contrived notions of a gangster film. Not succumbing to cliches that have affected the recent crop of British crime movie.

More amazingly the film was written and directed by two 18 year old's, vastly skilled beyond their pubescent years.

Dead Bolt Dead is an intriguing affair and a must see film!
