The film has two versions: (1) Beklenmeyen Randevu - Belali elmaslar (TR 1978-1982 92min) by Kunt Tulgar, with Turkish dialogue; (2) Diamanti che scottano (CH 1982-1985 83min) by Sergio Bergonzelli, with English dialogue. The second version cut off a large part of the original and added new scenes, shot in Geneva, the Jura mountain range in the French frontier, and in Turkey, with European credits only. The second version was intended for distribution in the international market, but ended up with limited VHS editions Italy (Diamanti insanguinati, Magic Video, 87min), Germany (rated 16, 75min), and Greece (83min).
