Anyone expecting an reasonably accurate biography of the painter Claude Monet, the French impressionist painter of the late 19th century, acted, perhaps, by talented European actors and with an intelligent script is in for a very big shock. This movie is a poorly acted, ridiculously scripted and grossly Americanised version of some imagined part of Monet's life. Any similarity to truth is purely coincidental. There is not a single French accent in the whole thing.
The best one can say about this is that it's only about 50 minutes long. That's more than long enough to suffer through this tripe.
