As far as filmographies go, Amy Heckerling has a weighty selection of hits among her misses. In addition to the fantastic Clueless, she also gave us Fast Times at Ridgemont High, European Vacation, and the first two Look Who's Talking movies. While the quality of the latter two films is debatable, at least they made money, which is more than you can see for her recent string of films which include The Loser, and the direct-to-dvd I Can Never Be Your Woman (which /Filmcast guest Richard Kelly quite liked).
We've now caught wind of her latest project, and it's quite honestly the last thing I want to see right now: A vampire romantic comedy, entitled Vamps. Apparently, it will "be a modern-day tale of two young female vampires living the good life in New York until love enters the picture and each has to make a choice that will jeopardise

As you have seen, we’ve been closely following the release of DJ Hero, the next step in rhythm gaming from Activision. Today is no exception as the company has now released the full 93 song set list for the game. While all club styled mixes, remixes and mashups, DJ Hero boasts one of the most varied collection of artists in any Hero franchise release.
With everything from the Jackson 5 to 2Pac, Daft Punk to Queen and everything in between, that variety of DJ Hero’s playlist is unmatched, as long as you like mashups and remixes. If you are a musical purist to the extreme, this game isn’t really what you’d be looking for.
In addition, the game will feature 10 tracks where players can plug in their Guitar Hero guitar and play alongside their friend on the DJ Hero turntable for a true real time rock / dance mashup.

Today’s Weekly TV Wrap Up will have a little One Tree Hill (Something a bit new, but a reader asked about the show.), some more on Dollhouse after the finale and Lie To Me news. We also touch on David E. Kelley’s disappointment, the dumping of a few shows by NBC and how Fox seems to be treating Ronald D. Moore’s Virtuality just like Dollhouse, but worse - If you can imagine that. I also have some David Tennant news for you.
Despite the season finales, it’s a bit of a quiet week for me. Of course, I have the TV ratings from last week and a bit of a surprise at the end of the post, if you make it that far.
Shall we get on with it?

Hey, Paulington! Is a new Cinephile advice column that looks at life, love, and the movies. Anyone can send in a question, and Paulington will answer it. Sure, it's a really cryptic, cliched concept that has been around since the dawn of time. But we're going to spice it up a little bit. Topics can range from anything: Sex, violence, haints and taints, your favorite movie! Paulington doesn't care. He's basically doing it for a paycheck. He's not really an expert on anything. But he sure does know a lot about movies and human nature. You can send your questions to (as in, click on the giant red letters and you will automatically be sent to his email):
Hey, Paulington!
And he will be sure to answer all of them in a very timely manner. Here are this week's letters. Enjoy!
