Note that the out door scenes were filmed in Mississauga, not Toronto. I used to live in Mississauga, and I'm familiar with most of the locations.
For those who don't know Ontario, Mississauga is a city of 700,000 people west of Toronto. The two cities share a border, and if you don't see the city limit signs, you can't tell when you go from one to the other.
I don't know where the indoor scenes were shot, but there are a lot of studios in downtown Toronto, and it's possible they were shot there, and that's why the location is given as Toronto.
