Steven Moffat, writer of Coupling and later of the Doctor Who two parter "The Empty Child" provides one of the best parodies of Doctor Who I have seen. Others are just lame, but this one is full of good self-referential jokes ("These corridors look the same!"), as well as an amusing bit making fun of Time Paradoxes (where The Doctor and the Master kept going back in time to bribe the architect.). Rowan Atkinson does a great job playing the Doctor and I think he has what it takes to be a good Doctor some day. Jonathan Pryce gives a hilarious performance as The Master, totally chewing the scenery. Of course, the fact that it featured the daleks also entertained me, as they are my favourite monsters. And the various other actors who go on to play the doctor towards the end each do a good job, in particular Richard E. Grant, and Hugh Grant. Another joke I liked was when the Doctor kept on regenerating, eventually turning into Joanna Lumley.
An affection parody that any who fan would enjoy.
