This time Ben is the murder suspect. He's also hilarious. One of my favorite episodes.

Warning: Spoilers
Say it isn't so. Ben is the accused murderer this time. I think what I love about this episode is how cranky pants Ben is. Having to travel to LA sort of unexpectedly and everything going wrong as predicted by Mrs, Hawkins. From the airlines to the hotel, to the courtroom. Even being found to be in contempt of court, Lol.

Another great thing I love is Andy Griffiths's acting. I know Ben was drugged, but he was just so hilarious. It's all those little nuances of his acting, his expressions, and his southern charm, to being cranky, and angry. He's expressive and funny. He should have won an Emmy for this role. Probably never considered due to the light nature of the show.

Poor Ben after he was arrested. Michelle was there like his momma bear combing his hair. Lol.

Ben running away from the car that was trying to run him down made me laugh. His expression and gait. I mean he's an older fella, but I don't know, somehow it was funny.

I just about died laughing when Ben along with the homeless fella were tracking the killer. And Ben ordered him to break down the door like he was Conrad. Then Ben shoved him into the door to break it down. Omg, so funny. Then Ben ordered him to follow the killer. It was so funny.

Anyway, I think I might watch this one again. Andy Griffith was underrated and wasn't given enough credit for his portrayal of this role I think. He's great. I always thought Columbo was the cutest detective, but I think I was wrong, and it's actually Ben Matlock. 10/10.
