Smart, sassy, stylish & delightful

ELEVATOR WORLD is a miniature gem, a witty and enjoyable cyber ballet populated by modern day follies, virtual ironies and politically correct techno dummies that takes us up and down this great elevator ride. Already a winner in several festivals, this is the cutting edge, innovative and imaginative stuff the academy should be nominating for its short film category. It makes us smile, think and it looks wonderful. Director Mitchell Rose's choreographer eye wonderfully orchestrates colors, shapes and digitally animated characters with unabashed minimalism, taking us by the hand into a trip that never ceases to amaze, entertain and that manages to makes us feel that computers graphics can be as warm, entrancing and sweet as the best of performances. It's all in the mind. Don't miss a chance to enjoy this grand little piece. Minute per minute, one of the best deals of the year.

Incredibly original and entertaining

This was a wonderful film which highlights the higher message of an everyday experience. After seeing the film, I looked at an elevator ride in a completely different way. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and have recommended seeing it to all my friends. I look forward to more work by this director.

A truly unique film, worthy of its win at Slamdance

Mitchell Rose is a unique artist, coming from the world of choreography and contemporary theatrical dance, to the film world via AFI in Los Angeles. Elevator World is an utterly original composition, hilarious and poignant at the same time. It took the first prize for animated shorts at Slamdance Film Festival, well deserved.
