Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, that you instead use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

Non-explicit scenes that take place in a sperm bank, and a brothel. Some sexual dialogue.

Violence & Gore

Extremely graphic and bloody violence, the majority of which takes place in the film's third act.

A massive gun battle occurs and several people are shot and/or killed with blood splattering everywhere; one man is shot in the groin and another is graphically shot in the chest many times; during this scene, a man falls into a pile of broken glass and is badly cut, with a large glass shard sticking out of his arm (this is very graphic and wince-inducing); throughout this scene, two men are wounded several times, and finally have their legs riddled with bullets and they lie in pools of blood for a lengthy scene.

A woman is given a C-section in a very gory and unpleasant scene. We see the woman cut open and blood everywhere, and the gory results of this scene are seen for a long time.

An man who's been shot and covered in blood is tortured on a makeshift rack. We hear him scream, and see very bloody rope burns on his wrists, while the torturer talks in graphic detail about what he's going to do to him.

A man is shot through the neck and killed, with extremely graphic and bloody results.

A man is shot killed; we see a lot of blood on the wall behind him.

A few men fire back and forth at each other, and one is shot in the leg, with bloody results.

A man is shot in the foot in a graphic manner, and then killed off screen.

A few men are killed in a mostly bloodless shootout, and one man is badly wounded and bleeds profusely throughout the rest of the movie.

Several people are killed in a mostly unseen shootout, and we see their dead bodies, including one with lots of blood around his head. More shooting then occurs, but no one is badly hurt.

Two men and a woman are bloodily beaten during a fight. The woman has a bloody nose, and the men are left bloody and unconscious in the street.

A man is hit in the face with a gun, and is later seen stitching up his eyebrow, and there is a lot of blood on a towel.

Lots of threatening with guns.

Profanity

Lots of F-words (about half of which are spoken in the opening scene), among other scattered harsh profanity.

Throughout smoking characters are: Mr. Longbaugh (Benicio Del Toro) & Joe Sarno (James Caan). Two others smoke once.

Alkohol is drunk in only a few scenes, nothing over the top.

No drug use, only one injection by medical reasons.
