  • Continuity: The first card in the game of hearts said to be placed is two of clubs, but in the long shot it is seen to be a high number heart (10?). All following shots show the correct cards.

  • Errors in geography: At the end of the film, after the shoot out at the motel, Parker and Longbaugh wonder why the doctor, followed by Abner, went south. When we see the two cars that are supposedly headed "south," we can see the sun rising behind the cars, to the drivers' right, which would mean that they are heading north, as the sun rises in the east.

  • Continuity: During a game of Hearts in the motel room, the number of cards in Longbaugh's hand changes. As the camera goes around showing the characters, he somehow loses several cards, which reappear in the next shot.

  • Continuity: In the sperm bank, the magazines that Parker and Longbaugh are reading in one shot are between the two characters in a following shot.

  • Continuity: In the sperm bank, Parker is sitting to the left of Longbaugh. The camera moves and when the same shot is shown a few seconds later Parker gets up from the right of Longbaugh.

  • Continuity: During a chase, a red car is seen between Parker and Longbaugh's vehicle and Jeffers and Obecks' vehicle. After we see Parker and Longbaugh's vehicle turn down an alley the red car disappears.

  • Continuity: The shape and size of the bandage (and the blood thereon) above Dr. Parker's right eye while he's in the truck stop restroom talking to Parker & Longbaugh.

  • Continuity: After Francesca pushes Jeffers away, her leg is exposed in the medium shot and covered by her robe in the following longer shot.

  • Continuity: The first time we see the Chidducks and Robin together, her hair near her left ear.

  • Continuity: Ending scene orientation of Longbaugh's gun. As he and his partner lie on the ground, the gun above his head points to/away from his partner in sequential shots.

  • Continuity: The amount of sweat on Dr. Painters shirt during the operation in the motel.

  • Continuity: During the kidnapping, Obecks' tie repeatedly jumps over his arm and back again between shots.

  • Continuity: During the gun fire in Mexico, Obecks' right leg switches position between shots. First his right leg is under his left leg then it's next to left one and after he gets shot by Longbaugh we see his right leg under the left leg again.

  • Continuity: The blood on Dr. Painter's face as Mr. Chidduck holds him to the wall.

  • Revealing mistakes: When Longabaugh shoots the first Federale with the sniper rifle, the sonic crack of the bullet is heard, and the impact is seen, before the report of the rifle is audible, indicating a range of over 700 yards, far beyond the range of Jeffers' pistol. Yet Jeffers is able to put down effectively accurate suppressive fire at that range.
