A story of a comedy that is still current.

The Hoax is about two buddies who find an atom bomb that fell off of a plane stuck in the rocks by the beach. They hatch a plan to blackmail the city of LA by cutting of a fin that has the serial numbers, mail it to the city government and tell them that they want each person in LA to send one dollar to a swiss bank account. Of course the FBI gets involved. This movie could very easly happen today, despite its age. With the internet, you could fabricate a bomb part with out even having one. One of the more amusing parts is that Frank Bonner (Herb Tarlek in WKRP) is a ladies man. He is always having women come in and out! If you find a copy, keep it. You will enjoy a nice light adventure comedy.

Cute comedy

If you can get past some of the wardrobe choices in the first scenes without falling off the couch in giggle-fits, you'll have a good time. No blood, no profanity - just goofy kids and sideburns. A light-hearted and fun comedy about "getting away with it." Long OOP; if you can find it at your video store, it's worth a few bucks to get it.
