The third instalment of this classic 80s kids show

T-Bag Bounces Back, the third instalment of the classic 80s kids show follows the same routine as the previous 2 series. Debbie arrives in the Junk Shop which Thomas works at and is transported into one of the artifacts found in the shop. This time it's an old music box that is broken and won't play it's melody. Once again we have Jennie Stallwood as Debbie, John Hasler as T-Shirt and the unmistakable star of the show, Elizabeth Estenson as T-Bag. Debbie meets Major Happy (Tony Haygarth) in an alpine village in the music box where he informs her that T-Bag has taken residence inside his castle and robbed him of 8 little golden bells that make up his magical glockenspiel. T-Bag has scattered them across the world of the music box so that Major Happy cannot play his music and thus return harmony to the world and in doing so banish T-Bag. Cue Debbie departing to collect the bells over the next 8 weeks to reunite them with the Major. As you can expect the usual fun ensues. There are 2 different guest actors each week to help drive the story along with some amusing little ditties along the way!! Sure the acting is a bit wooden at times. Yes the sets look flimsier than something from Doctor Who in the 70s. And yes the storyline is as see through as a window. But - and this is a big but. If you grew up in the 80s this was must-see viewing and all of those negatives cannot outweigh the sheer nostalgia you'll feel when you see this again. The main cast must have had a ball making this and it shows in the sheer amount of fun they all seem to be having!!

This programme was one of the masterpieces of the 80's. It followed the adventures of a with called T-Bag who could read the future in Tea leaves and always tried to conquer the world, but her nephew (T-shirt) managed to spoil it. this hasn't been on Television for years, and it should be brought back, to entertain the next generation! BRILLIANT AND CLASSIC 80's! Unfortunately theres no web site, or information about it anywhere, so the memories will have to suffice.

I watched this when I was about 4 or 5 or even 6 and all I really remember was the nephews name was T-Shirt and his 'evil' aunt used to look into the nearly empty tea cup and see a girl and plot her evil plans to go against whatever this girl was doing. I don't really remember. But I do remember that I quite liked it.

Like lola-41 I haven't seen it for ages. It was brilliant!
