Greatly anticipated over the 1965 Thanksgiving weekend, Julie Andrews and Gene Kelly gave us a wonderful variety show. At the time, the highlight was Miss Andrews singing The Sound of Music. I believe another number sung by the stars was Try to Remember. Today on the 38th anniversary of that broadcast, it's so hard to think how much time has passed. It was a wonderful show and I wish a copy of it was available for people to see today. Thank you Miss Andrews for a lifetime of music.

The Julie Andrews Show was awesome. It was way better than the "Mary Tyler Moore show" and others like that. Julie Andrews is a great host and she had some very entertaing guest, but if you ask me, the show would have ROCKED even if she didnt have guests and it was just her. I'm one of those people who thinks that Julie Andrews just reading the phone book out loud is entertaining. Great show, great Julie!
