Trivia:

The sequence with Lisa (Jacinda Barrett) was filmed months after principal photography was completed. It was decided after the film was done that a death scene needed to occur much earlier in the film. This is why the character is never mentioned before or after her appearance. Anson Mount actually had to wear a wig during this sequence because he had cut his hair significantly since.

Goofs:

Incorrectly regarded as goofs: When Sandra forgets her keys she tries to open the car door and does not set off the alarm. She kicks it and the car alarm goes off. That's the way that particular alarm works.

Disapointing follow up to effective original.

I enjoyed the first film in this series quite a bit but this follow up effort, set in film school is truly terrible. Aside from the fact that the filmmakers don't seem to have ever set foot in an actual film school, the story has many flaws the most glaring being that the characters are all flat, uninteresting and badly acted. The direction and cinematography are equally hackneyed and the gore effects, once the saving grace of this sort of bad horror effort, are just so-so. Avoid at all costs, go rent the original instead. GRADE: F
