This is just one of many strange films from the DVD collection "Unseen Cinema: Early American Avant-Garde Film 1894-1941" and it's from Disc 3. Like the last film on the disc, "H2O", this one is an art film all about water and shows many images of water--such as the surf, shoreline, pulsating waves, etc.. Unlike "H2O", this one shows the interplay between the water and objects--such as sand, seaweed and rocks. It's all very artsy and pleasant but not exactly the sort of thing the average person would sit and watch. However, it's well made and the cinematography was nice. Why I did is because I am a weird cinemaniac who will watch just about anything! Difficult, if not impossible, to rate.
