Puppet Master (1989) showed that Andre Toulon committed suicide in 1939. This movie is set in 1944, where Andre Toulon gives a flashback of the back. This is implausible since he should already be dead and cannot do this. Puppet Master III: Toulon's Revenge (1991) is similar in this case since that takes place in 1941, when Toulon should have died.
When the second slave hands the picture of Elsa to the leader slave, he grabs it with his left hand. In the next shot he's holding it with his right, and after that it's back in his left.
When Andre discovers the beggar has died and is speaking to Afzel, you can see the beggar blink for a split-second in the background.
A string is visible during the genesis of the puppets.
During the scene where Andre is naming all the puppets, obvious servo noises can be heard coming from the puppets.
The early 1900's theater has modern tubular steel frame chairs.
When Afzel helps Young Toulon bring the first puppet to life, a visible hand can be seen manipulating the puppet.
