I think 'Pups' really likes to show the audience how crazy and messed up this world is. Director Ash, who also wrote the story for the film, tells you the story of two kids who find a gun and go rob a bank on their way to school. The story is really topical with all over the world children with guns are shooting in schools and in other public places. The lame acting of Cameron van Hoy, who plays the kid who finds his mother's gun, is not very important for the story and of course the message the director likes to bring us. And that message is: Where is it going with this world? And why is the gun-policy so lax in the land of dreams? It is a question Micheal Moore has asked us for a long time and now director Ash is asking the same question. 'Pups' is not a very great movie, but the message only is worth watching it.
