Sex & Nudity

- Throughout the series, the title characters are subjected to being kissed by their self-proclaimed love interests. Most instances end with them being covered in red lipstick marks.
- In a few episodes, some of the main characters appear fully naked but no frontal nudity is shown.
- There are a few moments of kissing between a boy and another boy but it's only played for laughs.
- The boys often gawk at Nazz, and one episode is about them trying to impress her.
- Occasional innuendo that children will not understand (i.e. used tissues next to Eddy's bed, etc.).
Violence & Gore

- There are many attempts of slapstick humor in every episode.
- Characters get really hurt in some episodes but of course only played for laughs.
Profanity

- Double D (Edd) often times says, "Good lord!"
- 1 use of amorous.
- Some mild nasty humor (and nastier than the stuff on Nick), but nothing to the point of crude. Some mild double entendres but it goes over the kids' heads.
- Many uses of child versions of milder language.
- One character makes a self-referential humor were he admits that: "I'd swear but standards won't let me!" But again nothing big.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

- None although there is one moment where one of the characters hope that something will be "Non-Alcohol".
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- As with any TV-Y7 show, this stuff has stuff that isn't really for kids or wholesome, but is not enough to be PG-rated either. Given the obvious inspiration from "La Haine," some of it is stylized after that movie, so some dark, rude humor, but nothing that isn't for older kids.
- In every episode the characters gets really hurt at times but gets better the next episode, nothing too frighteningly.
- There is one Halloween special episode called "Ed, Edd n' Eddy's Boo Haw Haw" where one of the characters have been watching too many scary movies and suddenly sees almost everyone in town resembling the monsters he saw and becomes into a scary monster/creature in his vision. This special might be frightening to some younger audience.
