There is a large dining room in the boarding house. This room is never seen again once the building becomes a Clinic. Seems like it would have been an excellent room to turn into a surgery room.
The town cemetery has many town folk move into it over the 5 years. It never grows in size. Odd.
Miss Charlotte shares with Dr. Quinn that her husband and she had a farm in Topeka for four years. She says that her husband sold it and moved the family to Colorado Springs to mine for gold. Another version of the story is that Miss Charlotte's husband abandoned her on the farm and took her money sock. Miss Charlotte waited a year on the farm for him to return.
Dr. Quinn shares with Miss Charlotte that when she went to parties no man asked her to dance. In future episodes, Dr. Quinn is an excellent dancer. It is a puzzle. She never danced at parties, but is an excellent dancer.
When Charlotte is driving Dr. Mike and the children out to the old homestead, if you look in the background, you can see a car (in the left hand portion of the screen) driving along the road for several seconds.
Dr. Quinn arrives in Colorado Springs in late 1867. At that time, the town was known as Colorado City.

When Dr. Mike and Sully go to hunt for Brian when he has run away, as they start up the craggy mountain just above Sully's head you can see a crew member trying to get in place for the shot of wolf running past him. The white sneakers in the green brush.
