Fine.

This is an adaptation of Crazy Mohan's stage drama - Saloonil Kalyanam (Marriage in a barber shop). The writer tries to put in as much laughters as possible in 2 hours and with limited success. The story revolves around the bet between the lead actor and the lead actress's father whether he could make her fall in love with him. You might find the film an improvement over the stage drama. The guest role of Kamalahassan is tacky but funny at the same time. You might have seen the barber as a villain in many Tamil movies of the same period, and this is a slight refreshment. Sadly, other actors in the movie have all but disappeared. The movie and the dialogues might be a little crazy at times. What else can you expect from Crazy Mohan? It is worth watching once.

The film adaptation of a play (Saloonil Kalyanam), this film is nonstop fun and laughter from beginning to end. Vaali is unforgettable as the pan-chewing father of the heroine who has aweakness for betting. Kamal appears in a guest role. All original jokes.
