- One character tries to attack another character using vitriol (sulphuric acid). The bottle shatters in his hand and he screams as his hand burns. Another character shoots him to put him out of his pain.
- A character recalls strangling his girlfriend to death.
- A woman is killed and her dead body is hung up. At first glance her death may appear to be suicide, although it is not.
