Fun Memories

I was lucky enough to be an extra in this film and i even help with some of the camera work, Rocco is a great guy, and a brilliant director. This film was made at my high school, and most everyone in the film is a friends of mine, we all had a great time working on it, even if Roccoc's favorite words were "lets try that one more time" If you ever get the chance to see it, i hope you enjoy the film.

Options Limited
bkoganbing6 December 2015
Two Christian kids Austin O'Brien and Britt Leary are attracted to each other and hormones as opposed to church values take over one beautiful day and Leary is pregnant. As the title says it only takes once.

Watching this all I could think about was the apparent lack of availability or education about protection. Who was the guidance counselor at the high school? If the homes for reasons of their faith won't provide education somebody better pick up the slack.

This film could just as easily have been a message about the need for sex education as well as abstinence. Austin O'Brien and Britt Leary gave a pair of nice and matched performances and get could support from the rest of the cast. The location photography in Utah was nice as well.

But this one is strictly for Christian audiences and sure does a disservice to them when hormones do take over. Their options because of their faith doctrine are most limited.

Frustrating ending!

A good story but a total rip off ending. I feel cheated as a viewer that the writer left things unresolved. Such an obvious loose end to an otherwise nice, clean romance with a good message. Cardinal sin in writing!

This movie is a GREAT MOVIE! They do not only have a great cast and crew, but also a great film location, great music and just everything... It's GREAT! I just love it! I can watch it over and over again! Austin did a great job. And so did Britt. I think this movie is one of the best ever!

Well Done!

An important issue handled so well. The acting is excellent and the behaviour of the parents is a wonderful example for all parents facing that situation.

Disappointing ending....

Warning: Spoilers
Wish they would have followed through and shown that adoption is the best route to go in these situations. Teens need to know it's the best alternative. Too many children suffer and unwanted pregnancies only add to more grief.

Good Movie
jaywriter21 May 2004
The first day I saw this movie I watched it 3 times. I think it shows a lot about teenagers and also about the LDS culture. It shows that we Mormons are just like everyone else. Compared to other ways I have seen our religion shown. Growing up in the Mormon capitol of the world which I have, I have appreciated the way this movie was representing those values which I also have. The acting I believe was well done and the actors played their roles well. Austin and Brit made the characters of Greg and Kelly believable and real. Although the movie is short the writing was well done.

I would have liked a little more story towards the end but they way it was done is very good. Thank you those that made this movie.
