OK As A Huge Fan Of Dragonball Z I was (like most) dissapointed with the start of the DBGT it focused more on comedy than fighting. Later the creators started to pick up on this and so lots of fighting was added. The plot runs thus: Gokou training with Ubuu on Dende's lookout is wished back to being a kid by Pilaf (remember him?) and the black star dragonballs. Gokou is informed that unless the dragonballs are collected and returned to Earth in one year the Earth will explode there is one minor snag though , the dragonballs split across the whole universe. Gokou, Trunks and Pan (Gohan and Videl's daughter) travel all over the universe to collect the dragonballs and of course fight against some new enemies and some old ones with new power.The Good: Super Saiyan 4, Gokou-Vegeta and Gogeta, Pan is really CUTE!!!(my weird) really cool battles, the dragons are bad guys for once. Lots of humour and a cool new opening song.The Bad: Early episodes suck, New character designs are (mostly) horrible.Overall: This appears to be the last of the DragonBall series and so therefore it has a definitive ending (Gokou dies...sort of) and it also just happens to be one of the best of any type of show. Supposedly Funimation are making a movie version of DragonBall personally I hope not since the dubbed version is bad enough. So If you miss DB/DBZ then GT is what you need.
