Apple has debuted the first trailer for Jon Turteltaub’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.” The first official photos from the movie also have been released. Check them out below.

Turteltaub (Phenomenon, Instinct, National Treasure) directed from the script written by Larry Konner, Mark Rosenthal, Matt Lopez, Doug Miro and Carlo Bernard.

“The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” adaptation of the classic story from “Fantasia,” stars Nicolas Cage, Monica Bellucci, Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina, Teresa Palmer and Toby Kebbell.

A film about the birth of environmental group Greenpeace, in the 1970's, will start shooting soon. Two books written by the charity founders will be adapted into a screenplay: "Greenpeace: How a Group of Ecologists, Journalists and Visionaries Changed the World" by Rex Weyler, and "Warriors of the Rainbow: A Chronicle of the Greenpeace Movement" by Bob Hunter.
