I loved Chris Cross

I loved this programme. I used to look forward to watching it and was disappointed with its short lived life. It was a great part of my childhood. It made me wish I was at boarding school! I would love to watch these again. If anyone hears of it being released onto DVD or on TV in UK then please let me know. Chris Cross had a great feeling about it. I got the impression everyone enjoyed filming it and had a laugh on set. It was a programme that didn't seem to take itself to serious. IT was what it was, cheesy fun kids entertainment that will stick at the back of many minds and pop up when ever I see the actors and actresses in there current films and programmes.

Surprisingly funny

This show was on Showtime nearly a decade ago...about 8 years ago, I think. It's a story about Chris and Oliver, best buds at a private boarding high school. They have the usual adventures you'd expect from a show like this, and it's actually very funny. In the show, the two main characters live along with a few other guys in this "dorm" that is just awesome for someone in high school. You have the principal who is bumbling around clueless to half of the schemes the guys come up with, to either sneak out of the school to party or to do whatever else comes to mind. You have a few girls mixed in with the guys and you have a lot of laughs. The show clearly had a very small budget..you could tell from the look it had...but, it was still a good show. I had Showtime 3 a year ago and episodes used to air there and sometimes on Showtime 2, but I don't think they're on anymore. It's show like this and about a million shows on Nickelodeon that I'll miss from my "childhood."

The last great kids drama

I loved Chris Cross. It was shown here in the UK on children's ITV. I've still got the series on tape. Simon Fenton (Chris) was a cutie - he's an English actor, though you wouldn't know by the American accent. And why Dinah was dubbed English when the actress is American I don't know but they dubbed her very well. Berkely was funny as was the headmaster, whose name escapes me at present! There's also a debut from a young Sarah Alexander in one episode (she of Smack the Pony/Coupling/The Worst Week of my Life fame) - I think it's series 2 where Oliver and Chris have the run of the school to themselves and get invaded by a gang of bikers.

If my school was as lush as this one and as fun, I'd go! They don't make em like this anymore.

Good for a laugh.

This series is really interesting, despite that it has a formula used in many other shows and movies. I started to watch it because I was going to boarding school, and I guess it gave me comfort! The tricks they get up to are not always original, but always entertaining. This show is good for a laugh.

Awesome show

Oh man! This takes me back when I was a kid such a great TV show now in days you barely see anything decent for kids. They involved foul language and sex. Companies need to bring back series more relative to the old TV shows, they always taught a lesson or had a meaning. Thank you!
