Fun Stuff
Trivia:
Theatrical trailer features snippets of scenes not used in the final film, ie. Harry and Capt. Egan having an argument at the police station. moreGoofs:
Crew or equipment visible: When Harry talks to an old co-worker in the small corridor in the police-office a crewmember holding the boom-mike is reflected in the wall on the left. moreQuotes:
Harry: I was hoping to talk to Jack.Catherine: And here I thought it was my company. Jack took a sedative and went to bed. Something got him terribly upset this afternoon. I had an idea that maybe you might know what happened. (He says nothing) Course not. That's why people hire you, cause you're mute!
Harry: Where's Mel?
Catherine: She came home for about twenty minutes then went to work. She's working on a low budget picture. They had a night shoot. She had a very interesting question. She wanted to know why the hell you're still living here.

Didn't expect much because of the cool reception by critics(esp.Ebert),but was very pleasantly surprised. The acting, writing, and photography are first rate. Was glad to see Richard Russo's film writing come off so well. This is worth renting!
