• Revealing mistakes: When the boat backs away from the tree, a shot of the waterfall shows it flowing upwards.
  
  
• Continuity: The first snake is killed with three shots from a bolt-action rifle that was not cycled between rounds.
  
  
• Continuity: After the snake goes under water with the ax embedded in its head, Danny drops the ax on the dock.
  
  

• Factual errors: The barrels of fuel that go overboard would not sink, they would float.
  
  
• Continuity: When Danny climbs aboard the boat they discover, his shoes and pants aren't wet, although he swam to the boat. His shoes don't leave marks on the deck either.
  
  
• Continuity: When Paul pours blood on Danny and Terri, they are already stained with it before it touches them. In addition, after the blood "pours" on them, it leaves no new traces.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: At one point, the snake wraps itself around someone, causing him to spin. When the snake is about to wrap itself around his arms/shoulders, the guy throws his arm out and up, and it passes through the snake.
  
  
• Continuity: When Mateo is first attacked by the anaconda, his hair is down. In subsequent close-ups, his hair is pulled back.
  
  
• Factual errors: At the end of the movie as a final scare we see eggs that are being hatched. However, anacondas are oviviparous - their eggs hatch inside them and the young come out of the mother immediately after, giving the illusion of a live birth.
  
  
• Continuity: In the "firefly" scene, Terri's lingerie strap repeatedly shows/doesn't show between shots.
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: Near the beginning of the film, when the monkeys are "warning" the documentary makers, you can see in close-up shots that several of the monkeys are tethered to the branches they are perched on with a fine cord.
  
  
• Continuity: When Serone fishes for the anaconda and the struggle starts, he sends Gary to put the lights on the anaconda. Gary takes the right spotlight, but there is someone else operating the left light, yet all people are on the rear platform at that moment (Dr. Steven Cale is in his cabin, unconscious; Mateo is already dead).
  
  
• Revealing mistakes: After the first anaconda breaks through the glass to get Terri, Sarone shoots the snake in the mouth with a tranquilizer dart. As the snake reacts to the dart, you can clearly see the wires under him that are controlling his actions.
  
  
• Factual errors: Throughout the movie the snake screeches. It is physically impossible for a snake to vocalize.
  
  
• Factual errors: During the course of the film, the snake eats most of the characters. After large snakes like anacondas eat they stay still while there food digests. This can take days to weeks to be complete - if a anaconda manages to swallow a human it could take over a week to digest it.
  
  
• Errors in geography: There are no wild boars in the Amazon.
  
  
• Factual errors: When Sarone drags the boar onto the boat rigor mortis has already set in. In reality it would take a lot longer for this to occur.
  
  

• Incorrectly regarded as goofs: SPOILER: Denise is still breathing after she appears to have been strangled to death by Paul. In fact, she may have just gone unconscious and drowned in the water after being pushed overboard.
