While touring Paris with his friends, a young man saves a girl who turns out to be a werewolf, but she's isn't the only one!
A name-only follow up to Landis's classic American Werewolf in London (1981) is a decent entertainer but really pales in comparison to Landis's film. It does have plenty of humor, especially the memorable opening sequence on the Ifle Tower, but falls into occasional silliness with one joke too many. The plot is interesting enough with some startling moments. The FX are mostly CGI, which is pretty much second-rate to the makeup FX of Rick Baker.
Tom Everette Scott is a likable hero, though he's no David Naughton. The supporting cast delivers some energy and some laughs as well.
Over all a decent enough watcher (ideal late night watch), just don't expect a classic.
