Without a doubt the best TV series to emerge over the past 2 years. Alan Davies brings a gentle humour to the show that takes the show one stage further on from being simply a mystery show. The show completely deserved the BAFTA it received as both stars turn in top notch performances in every episode. I must also mention the writers - how on earth do they dream up the mysteries, and more importantly the solutions, in each episode? They had me scratching my head very week (apart from the recent Christmas special which was more obvious than anything that has been shown previously).
All in all, a marvellous programme that combines drama, mystery, suspense, and humour into a wonderful 50 minute package.
